The BEST wedding planner we could ever ask for! Martina came into our lives in the best moment possible. We originally had a wedding planner, but things didn't go the way we were expecting. As the mother of the bride living across the country from my daughter and her fiancé, Storia Mia Events was heaven sent. Literally, Martina was a Wedding Guru and team leader to all of us. Besides managing all the details/moving parts of the wedding celebration, she seamlessly navigated our unique family dynamics; keeping us in a joyful place throughout the 11 months of planning. At all times, she kept the bride & groom’s vision front and center. By staying on schedule with monthly check-in meetings, Storia Mia Events ensured continuity of plans from the onset. Working with Martina gave me the peace of mind I needed to fully enjoy this most beautiful time in my daughter’s life. At the start of our wedding planning process, we heard all of the, "wedding planning is so stressful!" and "eeek, you ready for this?!" and so on and so forth. While there were some stressful moments, it was not what these negative folks made it out to be. We give a whole heck of a lot of credit for this to Martina! From start to finish, she assisted us with the process of obtaining the right vendors, was on top of all of the steps, formal paperwork, creative ideas, and, perhaps more importantly, what mattered to us. She was readily available and happy to attend to our needs whether that was about feeling nervous about a vendor, concerns about shipping a dress, or not getting RSVPs back in a timely manner. She shared her professional opinion and input, which was beneficial on countless occasions. Then came the wedding weekend. We couldn't have had a better team handling the timeline, assisting guests, and making sure that was important to us, got done. A great example of this was we decided to print out a picture of our sweet dog that passed only a few weeks before the wedding. Martina and the Storia Mia team ensured that that picture was perfectly placed throughout the day. While this may sound silly to some, it was of utmost importance to us and we are forever grateful for them for it. Additionally, they were HAPPY! They were thrilled for us and to be there with us to give us the day we hoped for. At no point was a question asked or a concern given that wasn't attended to. We couldn't have had a better team in our corner and should we decide to plan another event in the future, we know where to go.

You won’t regret hiring her, that I promise you.

Straight to the point: MARTINA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! The one regret I have is not hiring her sooner. You can tell she loves what she does through her work. She’s loving, caring, responsive, on top of stuff (your stuff), very knowledgeable and just does everything she can to make the process as easy as possible. On our day-of, if anything went wrong, I knew nothing of it, everything went great and we received nothing but positive feedback from our bridal party. They all fell in love with her and her amazingness just as we did. You won’t regret hiring her, that I promise you. One of my last asks of her was for her to join me on the dance floor for one dance, and she sure did fulfill me ask. DO YOU WORK WITH A TEAM?

I am the owner and lead planner, but I have a strong, committed team of wonderful people who work with high standards and ethics to represent Storia Mia Events. Our integrity is showed through our professional work and customer service, where hospitality meets storytelling. 

HOW MUCH TIME WILL WE BE SPENDING TOGETHER?

It depends on the vision of your wedding. For a full planning, we might look at 12 months or so. We do monthly zoom meeting to discuss updates and to-dos and keep us all on track! Just so you know "day of coordination" is a myth for any professionals in our industry; we will connect at least 1 month prior your date to discuss timeline and logistics through our management package.

DO YOU PLAN OTHER EVENTS LIKE SHOWERS, BIRTHDAYS AND DINNER PARTIES?
